Hi, I’m Rehan “Ray” Tahir – Online Fitness Trainer

Allow me to introduce myself, and give you some insight as how I became an online fitness trainer.

When I was in the 5th grade, I was selected to coach a team for an inter-school track event.  I was able to successfully coach a team of 4 fellow classmates to a victory in the 400m relay ?- well it wasn’t just a victory, it was a grade “A” ass whooping.  From then on I was bitten with the coaching bug. In high school, I developed a passion for tennis ? , which led me to take on friends and acquaintances as students, passing along whatever knowledge I had learned from my tennis coaches. In my junior year of high school, I tried weightlifting ?️‍♀️ and was hooked; a few short years later and I was providing exercise training and nutrition coaching to others – I have since coached hundreds of people from all walks of life, sprung from my lifelong passion for health and fitness. My philosophy as an online fitness trainer has always been (and always will be) to share as much knowledge, information, and experience as I can to help as many people as possible.  As an online fitness trainer, I make it a point to teach my clients “how” to train and eat correctly, so that they have a level of self-sufficiency.

The bottom line – I’m dedicated to helping you get the results you want.  I’ve walked in your shoes, and can relate to the busy working professional and the challenges that prevent us from reaching our peak fitness potential.

But I’m More Than Just an Online Fitness Trainer

Aside from fitness coaching and training, I am also a working business professional and have been a manager and project manager in the corporate, health, and IT sectors for over ten years. I understand the day-to-day life of the busy working professional, not to mention I overcame my own health challenges (ten years worth) which sidelined my ability to coach and train others for awhile. But now I’m back!!

Let’s get some of the gobbledegook and alphabet soup out of the way.  I’m a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), as well as a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach.  I’m also a Certified Online Trainer through the Online Trainer Academy, and on track to complete an MS in Exercise Science (with a dual concentration in Sports Nutrition and Human Movement Science) in the Fall of 2019.  And, as long as life doesn’t get in the way, go on to doctoral studies from there.  If you’re interested – I am also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL and Lean IT certified, and have a MS in Management of Information Systems and Services. Phew!
